I’ve been following the case of Kevin Paul Riley Sr. quite closely, and I’m struck by the role that mental health seems to have played in this tragedy. In many of the court documents, there are mentions of Kevin Jr.'s past struggles with mental health issues. It's so distressing to think that untreated mental health problems might have contributed to such a devastating outcome. ? The whole situation must be incredibly difficult for the family, not only dealing with the loss but also grappling with these larger issues. I feel so deeply for them, especially since this is something that touches so many lives, whether we see it or not. Does anyone here have experience working with organizations that deal with mental health and domestic violence? I’m curious about what more can be done to prevent situations like this.
