Hey everyone, I've been thinking a lot about the community's response to Evan Lee Grove's tragic passing and how it shows the tremendous impact he had on Bismarck. What stands out to me is how local sports teams, especially those from the leagues Evan participated in, have rallied around his family. It's truly touching and indicative of the bond that grows within these teams, like a second family. I heard that at the recent hockey games, players from various teams wore patches with Evan's initials on their jerseys to honor him. It says a lot about the sense of solidarity and support they wish to extend to his loved ones during this unimaginable time. It's in these moments we see how resilient and caring communities can be. It's comforting, in a small way, to know that Evan's passion for sports and camaraderie is still bringing people together, even after he's gone. I'm hoping to see even more positive actions stemming from this tight-knit community as they continue to cope and support each other. Thanks for letting me share this.
