Has anyone else been researching the circumstances surrounding Officer J. Wafe Adams' tragic death in 1900? I recently stumbled upon this case, and it really got me thinking about the dangers officers faced, even back then. The fact that gunfire was the cause - it’s chilling to see how certain threats have remained constant over the decades. I can only imagine the shock and grief his family must have felt.
