I’ve been reading about the tragic end of Officer Christopher M. Dean, and something that keeps coming to mind is the courage he must have had to check on those men, knowing the potential danger. It's haunting to think he never even got a chance to defend himself. The bravery of officers like Dean, facing such threats head-on, is truly admirable. My heart goes out to his family, who not only lost a loved one but also had to face the reality that he couldn’t come home because of an act of senseless violence.
