I’ve been following Erin Miller’s case ever since it happened, and my heart goes out to his family and friends who must still be feeling a massive void in their lives. Something that's been on my mind lately is the potentiality of forensic advancements. With cold cases being cracked due to advances in DNA technology and tools like genetic genealogy, I can’t help but feel a glimmer of hope. Given the fact that no suspects have been identified publicly in all these years, I wonder if there’s any physical evidence that the MPD might be using to try and reopen new leads. Does anyone know if there were any witnesses who might have seen someone fleeing the scene back in 2007? Or perhaps video surveillance that could be re-examined with today's improved tech? I truly believe that breakthroughs in forensic science could be the turning point here — but of course, community involvement is just as crucial. If you’re local to the area or have any memory even remotely related to that night, please don’t hesitate to reach out to authorities. Let’s not let Erin’s case slip into oblivion; his family deserves answers.
