Hey everyone, I was doing a bit of digging around Malachi Mata's case and couldn't help but notice the timing of his disappearance. He was last seen at 4 a.m. leaving his home—this is pretty unusual for a teen his age, especially since it was on foot. Anyone else think it's odd he'd head out at that hour? Most teenage disappearances I've read about seem to occur later in the day or evening. Makes me wonder if he planned to meet someone or if there could have been something urgent enough to make him leave at such an unusual time. Anyone from the Mesa area have insight about what the neighborhood is like around Southern Ave and Val Vista Dr?

Has anyone else noticed the detail about Malachi leaving his home at 4 a.m.? This really sticks out to me because it's such an unusual time for a teenager to be out, let alone leaving without telling anyone. Did he have a habit of sneaking out at odd hours, or was there somewhere he intended to go that morning? Could it be that he met up with friends, or could someone have been waiting for him outside? There's got to be more to the story here because it feels like a crucial clue. Maybe someone on this forum knows the area and can give us insights on what the neighborhood is like around that time?
