Hey everyone, I've been reading through the threads about Sergeant James Russell Ward, and I keep thinking about the partners and colleagues who were there that day. It's hard to imagine the emotional impact on them, witnessing such a sudden and devastating loss. From what I’ve heard, Ward was well-respected and formed strong bonds with those he worked alongside. His fellow officers must have had a tough time coping and continuing their duties after losing someone who was not just a colleague, but a friend. Does anyone have more insights or stories about how his fellow officers have remembered him, or how the department has honored his legacy over the years? It’d be nice to hear more about the positive things they’ve done in his memory. Thanks for sharing any thoughts or experiences you have. Stay safe, everyone.
