Hey everyone, I've been digging into Timmy Ray Brown's case and something struck me about the neighborhood where this tragedy unfolded back in 2007. The Titusville area in Birmingham was facing a tough time with crime rates. Can anyone shed some light on how the community reacted at the time? It must've been terrifying for neighbors, especially knowing the gunfire came after an argument. Were there any community meetings or initiatives that sprang up in response to his death or the rising violence? It's hard to imagine the fear and pain his loved ones felt, and I just hope that community support was there in some form. This case and others like it really highlight the broader issues the city was grappling with. Would love to hear more about local efforts to improve safety back then!
