Has anyone else been thinking about the role of community safety in Darrian's case? It’s so tragic what happened, and my heart goes out to his family and friends. I've been following the arrests and all, but I’m concerned about what steps are being taken to prevent something like this from happening again. Dr. T.V. McCoo Boulevard must be on edge after such a violent incident. I know the police worked hard to get those suspects in custody, but what about broader preventative measures? Are there any community programs or new neighborhood watch initiatives being discussed? Would love to hear from any locals or people with more info. It feels like addressing the issue of safety could be a way to honor Darrian’s memory and support those he left behind.
