Has anyone else noticed how the abandoned U-Haul in Chicago complicates the timeline and potential movements of Suzanne Schultz and Stephen Craig Lund? It's puzzling to me why they would've headed to Chicago if Suzanne had called with intentions to return home to Wisconsin. I wonder if anyone has theories on why they left it there - could it have been a planned stop or maybe a sign something went wrong? It also makes me curious if there have been checks into any CCTV or eyewitness accounts from that area around the time it was found. And why were they in Chicago at all if Lund also planned to head back to Illinois earlier? It's frustrating how many loose ends there are. If anyone with insights or theories on this aspect of the case could share, it would be appreciated!
Has anyone else looked into the details surrounding the abandoned U-Haul trailer that Suzanne and Stephen were last seen with? It's always fascinated me that the trailer was found in Chicago, seemingly out of nowhere. Chicago's a busy place; surely someone would have seen them or noticed something unusual. Did they stop there for a reason or was it merely a stopover en route somewhere else? And whose name was the U-Haul rented under? The details around the trailer have always felt like a key piece of the puzzle. Any thoughts or insights?
