Has anyone looked into the possibility of Terrance Lee Schram using an alias after going AWOL? I was thinking, back in 1981, it would have been easier to assume a new identity, especially if he had no digital records following him. If he really was in Florida, maybe he took up a new life somewhere there, or even beyond. Given the Navy's involvement and his status as a deserter, would they have kept tabs or flagged any attempts at name changes or social security applications? I wonder if they looked through records that might have shown changes in ID or unusual activities. It might be a long shot, but after all these years, any stone left unturned could be key, right?
