I came across Brenda Hayward's case recently and noticed something peculiar. I lived in Kenner for a few years, and I recall that the canal near her home, where she was found, isn’t an easily accessible area, especially for someone her age. It’s got steep banks and a lot of overgrowth. I'm curious if anyone familiar with the area can share insight on whether it's commonly frequented by locals or if there's any known history of incidents there. It seems odd that she would end up there without some unusual circumstances at play. Could it be possible that there were witnesses who saw something but haven't come forward yet? It’s such a small community, and I would think someone might have noticed something.
