I was reading through some articles about Keary Hollis, and it's so deeply upsetting to think about the ripple effect his murder must have had on the Birmingham community. He wasn't just a police officer; he was also part of a community that looked up to him. It’s truly comforting to know that the justice system held someone accountable for this tragedy. Patrick Johnson's conviction provides some closure, but I can't imagine the daily struggles Hollis’s family must endure without him. It's just a stark reminder of the sacrifices officers make every day, and my heart goes out to all who loved and respected him.
