Hey everyone, I'm new to this discussion, but I’ve been following Scott Michael Caldwell’s case closely and something’s been bugging me. It’s about the sailboat that was found beached at Skiff Point. If Caldwell was such an experienced sailor, why would his boat end up there in the first place? I’ve done some reading, and Skiff Point doesn’t seem like the kind of location an accomplished sailor would end up unintentionally unless there were severe weather conditions or a mechanical problem. Does anyone else have thoughts on this? Could something have forced him off course? It's odd that an experienced seafarer like him would make such a navigational error unless there’s more to this story we’re missing. Curious to hear everyone’s theories.
