Has anyone looked into the tide patterns or weather conditions around Deception Pass when Adrian went missing? I've been reading up a bit, and apparently, tides can be really unpredictable there. If the tide was particularly strong or choppy that day, it might explain why no trace was found. I used to think these things didn't make much difference, but having visited Deception Pass after hearing about Adrian's case, I realized how powerful the currents can be. Also, the water there is notoriously cold, even in warmer months, making it even more challenging for any rescue or recovery efforts. It's baffling thinking about how quickly someone could disappear without a trace in those conditions. Anyone with local knowledge or experience with the currents care to weigh in?
