Has anyone else been looking into the case of Leona Evelyn Simmons? I came across her story while researching missing persons in Virginia, and I'm struck by how little information is out there about her disappearance. It seems so strange that there's not much to go on besides her last known location and basic description. I wonder if there were any searches conducted in the area where she lived. You'd think after all these years, there'd be at least a lead or two! It makes me wonder if there might have been something significant that prevented a thorough investigation at the time, like lack of resources or something overlooked. Thoughts?
