Has anyone looked into the medical records from that time? It seems that George was in a pretty rough state health-wise when he vanished. I'm curious if there were any hospital visits or medical reports closer to the date he disappeared, and how they might shed light on what happened. Maybe he sought treatment somewhere after leaving the house? Also, the obituary from 2006 raises so many questions. I wonder if that could have been him living under the radar for a while, given his health. Any locals remember hearing anything back then?
