I've been reading up on the case of Korde Turner, and something that really stands out to me is the unfortunate sequence of events surrounding his funeral. It's deeply troubling to see how the pain of his murder extended beyond the immediate tragedy and into the day meant for his family and friends to honor his life. When Parker High School went into lockdown due to disturbances near the church, it highlights the ripple effect of violence on the community. It gets me thinking about the continuous fear and anxiety the families have to live with, even during moments meant for healing. My heart goes out to everyone impacted by these terrible events. How tragic that communities cannot even find solace in their grief without chaos looming nearby. Is anyone here familiar with what specifically happened that day outside the church?
Hi everyone,
It's so hard to wrap my head around the tragic events at 457 3rd Street North, where Korde, Johnny, and Willie lost their lives in such a violent and senseless way. I wanted to talk a bit about Korde's funeral and how it seemed to reflect the deep feelings of shock and unrest in their community. I read that Parker High School was put on lockdown because of an incident outside the church during the service. It just goes to show the ripple effect this tragedy has had on the community. I can't imagine how Korde's family dealt with paying their respects under such tense circumstances. The whole situation makes me wonder, how does a community start to heal from something like this? Keeping Korde, Johnny, and Willie, and their families and friends, in my thoughts as they navigate through such a tough time. Would love to hear anyone's insights on how communities usually deal with such tragedies and start to move forward.
