Hey everyone, I'm still trying to wrap my head around the arrest of Jeffery Lee McKelvey in the Tucker case. I've been reading through some older articles and just can’t seem to shake the feeling of disbelief that someone from a neighboring city like Decatur could be responsible for such a horrible act against Denie and Pamela Tucker. It's unsettling to think about the people who walk among us who might harbor such dark intentions. What truly boggles my mind is how intertwined our communities can be, and yet, the façade some people maintain is truly alarming. I can't imagine the heartache both the Tucker family and the residents of the Asbury community are experiencing. Having a local family so brutally taken from them must stir up such a mix of fear and sorrow. It's a testament to the resilience of a community to come together and support one another in the wake of such a tragedy. Thanks to everyone who helped bring justice for the Tuckers. Sending thoughts and prayers to all of you who knew them well. Stay safe, everyone.
