Hey everyone, I've been following Tristan Markey Rivera's case for quite some time and something that's always struck me is the potential gaps in search efforts along different sections of the Trinity River. It's a sprawling area, and water can be incredibly challenging for recovery operations. I wonder if there are sections that might not have been thoroughly checked back in 2007 due to the sheer size of the area or perhaps difficult access. Does anyone have insights or know of any local search and rescue volunteers who participated back then? I feel like revisiting those areas with today's technology might still hold potential for finding some clues. Any thoughts or info would be appreciated!

I've been thinking a lot about Tristan Markey Rivera and his disappearance in 2007. One thing that keeps bothering me is why he was near the Trinity River in the first place, especially given how dangerous the conditions were at the time due to the flooding. I wonder if there's any information out there that explains what might have led him there. Was he familiar with the area? Was he with anyone when he was last seen, or did anyone hear him say where he was going? With his mental disability, I can't help but think he might have been confused or disoriented by his surroundings. It's just so puzzling and tragic to think about how he ended up in such a perilous situation, and why there wasn't more done to at least try to prevent this from happening in the first place. If anyone has insights or theories about why he was in that area or what the circumstances might have been, I'd love to hear them.
