Hi everyone, I've been following Richard Neria's case closely, and something that's always puzzled me is the untouched Social Security checks in his account. It's just so strange that these checks have been deposited monthly but never withdrawn since his disappearance. With his situation, I'd imagine any financial help would be crucial, especially as he was dealing with homelessness. What I find odd is that there doesn't seem to be much effort from the investigators to track any paper trail related to this income. Could someone else be using his identity, or is it just sitting untouched, suggesting something foul happened to Richard before he could access his funds? If anyone has experience with financial aspects in missing persons cases, I'd love to hear your thoughts. Hoping his family gets the answers they deserve. Take care, Jess

Has anyone else been following the case of Richard Neria? I was thinking about how his Social Security checks have been just sitting untouched since he went missing. It seems like such a big lead, but it doesn't appear to have been pursued aggressively. In cases of missing persons, isn't financial activity one of the first things they should look into? Given his age and health issues, this should have been a priority in the investigation. It's so frustrating to see these potential clues in plain sight and still no progress. What do you all think? Shouldn't looking into financial records be a basic part of trying to track down a missing person like Richard?
