Hey everyone, I've been digging into Timothy McKye's case, and I'm curious about something that hasn't been discussed much. The side of the story where his U-Haul got stuck in a ditch in Beaumont has got me thinking. Does anyone know if there were any searches conducted in the immediate surrounding areas where he was last seen? Maybe a search of nearby woods, buildings, or water bodies? Considering he left the trailer behind, it seems like he might have been in a rush or disoriented. Wonder if his van and his dog went with him or were left behind too. Has anyone heard about if scent-tracking dogs were used early on in the investigation? It seems like there could have been potential clues left right in that area. Would love to hear your thoughts or if anyone's come across any info about this specific aspect of the case.

I've been following Timothy James McKye's case since I stumbled upon it while researching disappearances related to relocations, and I find the part about his German Shepherd particularly puzzling. Does anyone know if the rescue efforts or searches included areas where a dog might’ve been spotted or if there was any attempt to track the dog's chip? Given how loyal and visible German Shepherds can be, you'd think there'd be a better chance of someone noticing a lone dog fitting that description. A dog's presence can really help jog memories and lead to tips. On the flip side, it could also imply something ominous if the dog is also missing without a trace. Anyone else have thoughts or additional details on this aspect?
