Hey everyone, I've been diving into Valentino Rudolph Jenkins's case lately, and something keeps bugging me. When he was released from jail, the last sighting of him was at the county line between Marshall and Longview. Does anyone know if there were bus routes or any kind of public transport operating around that area back in 2003? I'm trying to piece together whether walking was his only option, or if there were other means of travel that could've taken him further out or to someone else. It seems crucial given how close it was to when he was last seen. Also, I wonder if anyone's ever checked to see if any unusual activity was reported in the days following his disappearance. Any thoughts or additional info would be really appreciated!
Hey everyone, I wanted to discuss something that's been bothering me about Valentino Jenkins' case. It's been over 20 years, and we still have so little to go on. One detail that's really puzzling is the choice to drop him off at the county line of Marshall and Longview after his release. That seems like such a random spot! I mean, why there, of all places? Is it a common drop-off point for people released from the jail, or was there some other reason? It just feels like such a cold and desolate area to leave someone without any clear plan or transportation. Especially for someone who’d just been through the ordeal of an arrest and release. Wondering if anyone from the area might shed some light on this. Is it common practice, or is there something more to it?
