Has anyone else noticed how suspicious the timeline of events sounds on the day Diane disappeared? Burris's sister said she saw him with Diane at around 4:30 p.m., but then an hour later, she spots him alone at his own place. That's a pretty tight timeframe for someone to drive back, especially if he was involved in anything at her home. Plus, neighbors heard yelling that night, which makes me wonder if there was more to their relationship than just friends. The blood in the truck is damning evidence, but the police must have been piecing together a circumstantial puzzle before the arrest. It's so frustrating that they never found her body; it leaves such a gap in the family's ability to find closure. Has anyone found any additional info or theories that dive deeper into what might have happened during those crucial hours?
I've been following Diane Hopson's case for a while now, and something that's been bugging me is the timeline concerning Johnson Walter Burris on the day she went missing. His sister mentioned seeing him with Diane at around 4:30 p.m., and then he was reportedly home an hour later. Although it’s possible for him to drive back home in that time frame—what was he doing the rest of the evening? Was there any surveillance footage or anyone who could confirm his whereabouts during those critical hours after 5:30 p.m.? Seems like a tight window if something tragic occurred. And the argument the neighbors heard—did no one think to check on Diane at that point? Burris being convicted seems to imply some of this was cleared up in court, but it would help to understand more about that timeline and if anyone else noticed anything strange. Thoughts?
