Hey all, I’ve been following the Jacob Dubois case pretty closely, and something that's been bugging me is the timeline around Ethan Beckman's involvement. Has anyone else noticed how quickly the investigation zeroed in on him after Jacob disappeared? I mean, it’s understandable given the conflicting stories he gave, but I wonder why he would go to a Walmart so soon after the accident. The purchases Beckman made just seem so deliberate, like he had something specific in mind. Do you think it was planned, or just a panicked reaction to the situation getting out of hand? Curious to hear what you all think about how that plays into the larger narrative of the case.
Hi everyone,
I’ve been diving deeper into the details of Jacob Dubois's case, and one angle I found particularly striking was Ethan Beckman's purchases at Walmart right after the accident. When looking at the timeline, it seems odd that hours after such a significant incident, his first move would be to buy items like bleach and lighter fluid. This kind of behavior raises so many red flags for me, especially because it happened so soon after he was last seen with Jacob.
It makes you wonder what was going through Beckman's mind at that point. Was it premeditated, or was he acting in a panic? Are there other instances where suspects in similar cases make such blatantly suspicious purchases? I'm curious if anyone has thoughts on what his mental state might reveal about the circumstances of that terrible night. It’s chilling to think how quickly things turned so dark.
Any insight or similar cases anyone knows about would be appreciated.
