Hey folks, I’ve been closely following the James Jackson case, and I just read about the discovery of his van in the Calumet River. I can't help but think about the role these volunteer diving teams are playing in solving such mysteries. These guys from Chaos Divers found what law enforcement and search teams hadn’t found for nearly a year! It's incredible what some determined individuals can accomplish. It really makes me wonder: how many more missing persons might they help find in places that have been overlooked? Also, does anyone know if there’d been any sonar or search efforts near the river before this?
Has anyone else here been following the James Jackson case? I just read that his van was found by the Chaos Divers team almost a year after he went missing. It's so baffling how his vehicle ended up in the Calumet River. Considering he had dementia, I wonder if he got confused and accidentally drove into the river. It's tragic to think that he might have been out there alone for so long. I hope this discovery at least gives his family some peace, though I'm sure they still have a lot of unanswered questions. What do you all think about how dementia might have played a role in this?
