I came across Michael Marquez Wilson Jr.'s page on GunMemorial.org today, and it really hit home seeing his face and reading the heartfelt messages from those who loved him. 41 candles have been lit there, showing how much he mattered to his community. It's a reminder of the person behind the statistics, someone who had a family and dreams. It baffles me that even after all this time, the details of his case are still murky. It makes you wonder how many more lives need to be lost before something changes in how we tackle gun violence. My thoughts go out to his loved ones who are still seeking answers and justice. If anyone here has more details or insights into what might have happened that night in Lincoln, sharing them could be invaluable for his family and the community seeking closure.
