Hey everyone, just stumbled upon Herman George Brown's case and noticed something that's been bugging me. Has anyone else found it odd that his disappearance is being investigated by the Milwaukee Police Department even though he went missing in Memphis? I get that he's originally from Milwaukee, but wouldn't it make more sense for Memphis PD to be taking the lead given that it's the last place he was seen? Maybe there's someone here who knows more about how jurisdiction works in cases like this? Just seems like an extra layer of complexity that might affect solving his case. Any thoughts?

Did anyone else notice the oddity around Herman George Brown's case being investigated by Milwaukee Police when he went missing in Memphis? ? It's not often you see a department from another state leading the charge. I wonder if this points to Herman still having strong connections or ongoing cases back in Wisconsin, or maybe his family pursued getting the Milwaukee PD involved? Has anyone come across other cases where the jurisdiction was managed like this? The fact that the circumstances around his disappearance are still murky after all these years makes me think we could be missing key details that happened either before he left Milwaukee or after he arrived in Memphis. Also, with such specific details like his scars and eyeglasses identified in the reports, it feels like he might have been a person people could easily remember. I hope someone who might have seen him back then will come forward. It just takes one memory to break a case wide open.
