Has anyone else come across stories or theories about why Shannon might have chosen to take the Box Canyon route from Arizona to Coachella Valley? I've driven through that area a few times, and it's quite remote with limited cell service, which seems risky, especially if she had medical conditions and no medication with her. Could she have taken a wrong turn or was there a specific reason she went that way? I'm just trying to understand if there was a safer route she could have taken. There’s so little info on why she chose that path in the first place. What do you all think?
Has anyone looked into the traffic camera footage from the Box Canyon area around the time Shannon went missing? Given the timeline between Arizona and Coachella Valley, it seems like that might be a crucial piece of the puzzle. I know there are a couple of routes she could have taken, but surely there must be some surveillance footage that could provide clues or at least verify her last known whereabouts. Also, maybe checking for any unusual vehicle activity or a breakdown on the side of the road might help narrow things down. It's really frustrating not knowing if they've already pursued this angle. Hopefully, they're piecing it all together behind the scenes.
