I was going through old local news articles and noticed something peculiar about Adriana M. Bejarano’s case. It's mentioned that her backpack was missing, along with a change of clothes, but her purse and money in the bank account were left behind. This strikes me as odd because if she intended to leave for an extended period of time, wouldn't she have taken her purse for money and ID? It makes me wonder if whoever took her (if there's foul play involved) staged it to look like she ran away. Maybe the backpack was taken intentionally to throw off investigators and make it seem like she left willingly. And why would she need a change of clothes if her school was closed that day? So many questions with no answers. I’m curious to know what others think about this angle. Could the missing backpack be a red herring, or does it hold more significance?
I'm really intrigued by the timing around Adriana's disappearance. It's puzzling that she was there in the morning when her mom left but gone by the afternoon when her stepdad returned. The fact that she left her purse and bank account untouched seems like it wasn't a planned departure on her part. I can't stop wondering about her routine that morning—perhaps something out of the ordinary happened between her going back to bed and when her stepdad got home? Also, does anyone know if any neighbors saw or heard anything unusual around the apartment during that time frame? Maybe someone noticed something that seemed insignificant then but could be important now. Her case just sticks with me, and I really hope some new information comes to light soon.
