I recently came across Laura Melissa Scaggs' case and something piqued my interest. She disappeared on Christmas Day in 1991, which seems like such a significant date for something like this to happen. I've been thinking about the fact that it took a while for her family to report her missing. Does anyone have any theories as to why her family might not have had contact with her before she vanished? Could it indicate any estrangement or distance within her family, or was it common for her to be out of touch for extended periods? Also, her last known location was a residence on North Columbia Avenue. Has anyone looked into who lived at this residence around the time she disappeared, or have there been any public records or interviews with those individuals? There's so little information available, and any insights or research tips would be valuable.
