Hey everyone,
I've been thinking a lot about how important community support is in unsolved cases. The tragic death of Gennice Thrash, found near Fort Mitchell Cemetery back in '99, is no exception. It's truly unsettling that it's been over two decades, and those who loved her are still seeking answers.
I’ve read that the Alabama Attorney General's Cold Case Unit is involved, which gives me hope that new leads might surface. But it also got me thinking—what about the community aspect? Sometimes the smallest piece of information can break a case wide open, even if it seems insignificant.
If anyone happened to be near that area around that time or knows someone who might have been, it couldn’t hurt to rack your brain for anything you might remember. It might be the key to solving this.
And for those closer to Gennice, my thoughts are with you. Stay strong; you’ve got a whole community here willing to support you in any way possible. Let’s not give up on bringing justice for her.
Hoping for breakthroughs,
