Hey everyone, I've been digging into Colton Levi Clark's case recently, and something just doesn't add up about the Clarks’ claim that Colton ran away because he was scared of the DHS visit. If that were the reason, wouldn't he have tried to reach out to someone, like another family member or friend, for help? And the lack of scent tracked by dogs from the property is really bizarre, especially since they said he took his backpack and shoes. It’s unsettling to think about, but could he have ever really left the house? What do you all think about the tracker dogs not picking up a trail? It seems like there must be more to this story, and I’d love to hear any theories you guys have about what might have happened.

Hey everyone, I was going through some old missing person cases and got drawn into Colton Levi Clark's story. One thing I keep thinking about is the role of the DHS in all of this. How could these meetings keep being cancelled without further investigation? You'd think after so many cancellations, someone would have insisted on seeing the boys sooner. It seems like there were so many missed opportunities for intervention, and it's incredibly frustrating. It's clear his brother Homer went through a lot, too. I wonder how often this kind of situation happens when kids are under state care. Would love to hear what others think about the systemic issues at play and if there have been improvements in DHS protocols since then.
