I came across an interesting thread about Jonathan D. Otero's case and wanted to discuss something that’s really puzzling me. It's been over a year since he was last seen, yet he wasn't reported missing until 11 months later. Why did it take so long for someone to notify the authorities? I'm not pointing fingers, just genuinely curious if anyone has any insight into circumstances like these. Was there something going on in his life that would lead people to think he'd gone off-grid intentionally? Or maybe there's paranoia about involving law enforcement for some reason? This gap in reporting might have affected early investigation opportunities. Anyone have thoughts on this or similar experiences in other cases?

I was digging through some old online records and found something odd about Jonathan "JD" Otero's case timeline. It seems strange it took almost a year for him to be officially reported missing. Does anyone know if this kind of delay is common in missing person cases, especially when family is involved? I wonder if there were any previous signs that something was off, or if any family members have had more to say about their interactions with JD near the time he was last seen. I'm just trying to wrap my head around how these things can get unnoticed for so long. It's like he just vanished into thin air!
