Did anyone else notice how little information there was surrounding Timothy S. McCarty’s years between 1981 and 2023? I’ve read through all the sources I could find, and it's like there's this gaping hole in terms of what happened to him once he reached California. It's perplexing that someone can effectively vanish from all public records for over forty years, especially considering the digital footprints we leave today. Even if he asked his family not to search for him, you'd think something would have popped up somewhere along the line—employment records, hospital visits, something. I'm curious if anyone has theories about what he might have been up to all those years, how he stayed under the radar, and if there’s more to the story on how he ultimately ended up in Texas.
