I’ve been following the Montez Jackson case closely, and something that's been on my mind is the role of community cooperation in solving cases like this. The Mobile Police Department has continuously asked for witnesses or anyone with info to come forward, but it seems that not everyone is willing or able to share what they know. It's understandable that people might fear retaliation, especially if they live in the area where the crime happened. But, at the same time, it’s so important for justice and closure. Does anyone have thoughts about community initiatives or programs that could help encourage people to safely share what they know? I can't imagine the pain Montez’s family must be feeling, still waiting for answers all these years later. ?️✨
