Hey everyone, I'm diving down the rabbit hole with the case of Carl J. Holland Jr., which has been haunting me after coming across it recently. One thing I can't wrap my head around is the discovery of that shotgun slug at the farmhouse on Hamburg Road. Does anyone else find it super coincidental that it was found when the place was supposedly empty? Considering the possible links to local drug-related incidents, I wonder if Holland simply found himself in the wrong place at the wrong time. Or maybe that slug points to something bigger? It's strange that this potential clue didn't lead to more information, especially if foul play is suspected. What do you guys think the significance of that slug is—in relation to Carl and the broader context of those rumored murders? I’d love to hear thoughts or theories on whether anyone believes it ties into the other crimes mentioned by the authorities. The mystery around these farmhouses and the elements surrounding them make this one seriously perplexing case.

I've been digging into the Carl J. Holland Jr. case, and something that still puzzles me is the truck stop in Lynn, Indiana where his Chevy Impala was found. I've always wondered why that location? It's not that close to where he was last seen in Eldorado, so how did the car end up there? It's like a 30-minute drive away, not exactly a spot you'd just leave a car and vanish from. Was it left there intentionally as part of a plan? Or did something happen to Carl along that route? Also, the timing is odd. His family found the car days after he disappeared, but it took two weeks before they realized he was actually missing. I can’t help but think that might have delayed any crucial early searches or evidence gathering. With connections to those drug-related murders, it's hard not to speculate if someone else drove the Impala to this isolated stop to throw off any search efforts. I'm curious if anyone local remembers anything about the area back in 1983 or if there are truckers who might have seen something unusual. The truck stop must have had traffic, surely someone noticed a car being parked there suddenly. Thoughts?
