The surge in violence in Birmingham in 2016 is honestly so troubling, but what stands out to me is how Aundre's case seems to be lost in these numbers. Aundre was a real person with a life ahead of him, and it's disheartening that his murder seems to be becoming another statistic. I hope his case doesn't get overshadowed by the rising crime rates. It must be unbelievably painful for his family and friends not to have closure or answers. If anyone in the community has any information, no matter how seemingly insignificant, please come forward. It's crucial that Aundre's story stays in the spotlight so that justice can be served.
