I've been following the case of Mark Andrew Wilborne, who went missing after that terrible boating accident off Atlantic Beach back in 2003. Something that's been nagging at me is the mystery of how their boat ended up capsizing. Does anyone have insights into what might have caused it? Weather conditions, equipment failure, or perhaps something else entirely? Also, I've read accounts saying that the 21-foot boat washed ashore, but did investigators ever determine if there was something wrong with it once they recovered it? It's puzzling that with the boat found and Donald Sheets rescued, Mark vanished without a trace. Would love to hear what you all think.
