Has anyone else looked into the possibility of Matthew leaving a day earlier than his note mentioned? I find it interesting that there's a discrepancy between the date in the note and the official report from the NamUs. Could there be more behind this detail, like something unexpected happening the day before he was supposed to go to Saratoga? Maybe he changed his plans last minute or had a reason to disappear earlier? Also, has anyone looked into CCTV footage around Walmart in Wilton during those days? It would be helpful to know if there was any sighting or activity related to his car. Just some thoughts I had while going through the case details.

This case has always puzzled me, especially the part about Matthew's car being found in the Walmart parking lot in Wilton. Has anyone looked into whether this Walmart had surveillance cameras back in 2008? It seems like that should have been an early priority in the investigation. Even if footage wasn't kept for long, it could have potentially shown who dropped the car off or if Matthew was alone. Additionally, the distance between Greenwich and Wilton isn't too far, around 25 miles, so it's quite curious how no one noticed anything strange on such a familiar route. Just wondering if there might have been any traffic cameras along the way, even back then, that could possibly shed some light on his movements? I hope this case gets more attention again so his loved ones can get some closure.
