Has anyone looked into the "Albert C. White" alias that Andrew Carnegie Whitfield used when he checked into the hotel in Garden City? It's such a curious choice of name. Was there any significance to it, or was it completely random? I wonder if he had other aliases under which he might have lived after vanishing. Given that there were multiple unconfirmed sightings of him across the US, it makes me think he could've been trying to start over somewhere else under a new identity. Also, who leaves such valuable personal belongings behind if they don't intend to ever return to them? It's as if he wanted to erase all traces of who he was, but the question is, why? The whole thing definitely adds another layer of intrigue to this already puzzling case.
