So, I've been following Mario Fernando Sanchez's case and something's been bugging me. Does anyone know more about the red Mazda Protege found abandoned in Gallup? It's weird to me that the car was just left out of gas with doors locked. Did anyone do a thorough search around that area? Feels like there could be a clue hidden somewhere since Gallup isn’t too far from Albuquerque. Anyone local who remembers hearing anything back then? It’s strange the car's just there, but no sign of him.
Hey everyone, just jumping in here because I've been looking into Mario Fernando Sanchez's case, and something's been bugging me about the red Mazda Protege he rented. I read that it was found abandoned in Gallup, NM, out of gas and locked up tight. This just raises so many questions for me!
If Mario planned on visiting the Hopi Reservation, Gallup seems a little out of the way, doesn't it? Plus, the fact that the car ran out of gas makes me wonder if he was in such a hurry that he didn't have time to fill up, or maybe he was in a state where filling up was the last thing on his mind.
Anyone have insights on what could've happened between Albuquerque and Gallup around that time? Or why the car was left in such an unusual state? Just curious if anyone else has theories or knows more about the areas he was traveling through!
