Has anyone ever looked into the possibility that the conflicting last contact dates for Shayne Peterson might have impacted the investigation? I know it’s a long shot, but having February and August as potential last sighting dates might mean there were valuable leads or sightings that weren't given immediate attention. If the law enforcement and media focused on the wrong date initially, maybe some witnesses didn't realize their info could be crucial.
