I was rereading some old threads about Katherine Paquin's case and something got me thinking. Does anyone else find it odd that Christopher Blattner confessed to such a brutal act, yet didn't lead authorities to Kathy's remains? His plea deal required him to disclose the body's location, so why wasn't it enforced more stringently? It seems like recovering the remains could bring some closure to her loved ones. Considering that he was already sentenced to decades behind bars, maybe he figured he had nothing more to lose by keeping quiet. But still, you'd think it would have been a bargaining chip for him if he'd truly had remorse. Just trying to understand the reasoning here. Thoughts?
