Does anyone else find the timeline of Jillian Henderson-Ortiz’s disappearance really strange? There’s something that doesn’t sit right with me, especially considering the gap between her last phone call and when she was actually reported missing. It's just so unnerving to think about how long it took for a report to be filed. With these cases, the first 48 hours are crucial, but here we’re talking about a whole year! Plus, the different dates and places regarding her last sighting only add more confusion into the mix. It seems like starting from day one; there was so much uncertainty about her last movements. Just wondering if anyone here has any insights on similar cases where delays in reporting made things harder for investigators? Also, what could have been done early on to improve efforts in finding her? Would love to hear your thoughts.
Does anyone else find it odd how long it took for Jillian’s disappearance to be officially recognized? A whole year is an eternity in missing persons cases. ? I'm trying to wrap my head around why the report couldn't be filed sooner. Was it just red tape, or did the authorities dismiss it thinking she needed 'time away'? It's infuriating, especially knowing how crucial the first 48 hours are. Maybe if the report had been filed earlier, things could have turned out differently? I wonder if there were any internal reviews or policy changes in the police departments after this delay was brought to light. It just feels like such a missed opportunity. Thoughts?
