I recently stumbled across Barbara Fears' case, and something that caught my attention is her use of aliases. It’s noted that she might go by Debroree Barber or Debra Chantell. Given the difficulty in tracking missing persons, especially those who might be using different names, could this have significantly hampered efforts to locate her? I’m curious if these aliases were commonly used by her or if they were known only to a few people close to her. Additionally, considering she has schizophrenia and bipolar disorder, without her medications, there's a possibility she may not even be aware of her true identity if confronted. If anyone in the San Francisco area has connections to local shelters or resources, maybe there’s a chance someone has had contact with her under a different name. Any insight into how cases like this are managed when aliases are involved would be appreciated.

Has anyone else looked into the patterns of bus ticket purchases around the time Barbara disappeared? I’m curious if there was any follow-up investigation into the possibility of her having any previous tickets booked to San Francisco or other cities—maybe indicating a plan she had before the day she left. It could suggest that her trip was more thought out than it initially seems. Has the Reno Police Department or Greyhound ever commented on this aspect? It might not make the case any clearer, but it could give a small clue about her intentions leading up to her disappearance.
