Hey everyone, I've been delving into the strange disappearance of David Scott Partlow, also known as Dave, from back in '87. One particular detail that sticks out to me is about his hang glider. It was found remarkably intact despite what must have been a nerve-wracking rough landing. It makes me wonder if perhaps Dave managed to land it with some measure of control, which might explain why it wasn't in pieces. It got me thinking—could he have stuck the landing better than anticipated and if so, what might have been his plan afterward? For a guy with survival training, did he maybe manage to travel further than folks guessed before the exposure got him? What are your thoughts on how far someone could get in the snow after such an ordeal?
