I’ve been thinking a lot about the case of Jose Rene Rodriguez Gutierrez, and it’s so unsettling that his murder still hasn’t been solved after all these years. I read somewhere that despite the reward and public appeals, the investigation has hit a lot of roadblocks. It's disheartening to know that his family has been waiting all this time for answers and justice. I was just wondering if anyone in the forum has any theories about possible motives or suspects? It’s baffling that there seems to be so few leads. It’s especially tough when you consider that this wasn’t an isolated incident for the year. Washington D.C. had its fair share of violence in 2009, but each case like this one has a family left behind, dealing with the pain and the unknowns. Let’s keep talking about Jose and not let the memory of those affected fade away. Maybe with enough discussion, someone will remember a detail or come forward with new information.
