Does anyone else find it odd that Travis was seen walking the highway so late in the evening, especially in such a rural area? I grew up not too far from Gainesville, and let me tell you, it’s pretty desolate in those parts after dark. I can’t help but wonder if anyone else saw something unusual that night or if there were any cars pulling over for him. I feel like someone had to be out there on the road — maybe a driver passing by could have noticed if Travis was alone or if someone picked him up. It’s also strange that he didn’t have any phone or bank activity since then. Surely, someone must have seen something on Highway 5 that night. Hope the sheriff’s department continues to get more leads, as it feels like there’s so much still unknown.
