Hey everyone, I've been reading through what information I can find about Thomas William Barkfelt's disappearance, and I keep coming back to the condition of his truck when it was found. It's so strange that his wallet, cell phone, and keys were left inside, and the truck was just sitting unlocked at the state game refuge. I can't help but wonder if he left the truck on his own or if someone else was involved in moving it there. Given his altered mental state, could it be possible that he wandered off voluntarily? But then, you'd think he'd take at least his cell phone. Does anyone know if the areas around Spavinaw Hills were thoroughly searched on foot? It just seems odd to me that no trace of him was found nearby if he was indeed coming from there. Would love to hear thoughts or any other info folks might have on where the truck was exactly found.
